On Saturday during our bible study discussion, we were surprised that king Belshazzar was comfortable to throw a great feast while his kingdom was under siege. He chose to be ignorant of that fact and called for a feast instead. That was highly irresponsible of him as a king.

So I started wondering how this relates to our everyday life. How many of us are going about with our daily activities whilst under siege? When a person is under siege, “She is experiencing an attack”. If this is what it means, then why would anyone celebrate under such circumstances?

The following below may be a sign that your life is under siege:

When you notice any of the above and the likes, hunnie face it squarely and deal with it. Do not subject it to prayers alone, create strategies to take down the siege.

Don’t feast till you take down everything attacking you.

How do you face that siege?

Do not leave your life to chances forgetting that ignorance is the lowest form of knowledge. Confront your fears and hand them over to God. You don’t want to be taken unawares.

King Belshazzar ignored the siege and was eventually killed.

The siege you ignore today may take you down tomorrow.
